The Wedding Process
01
We Chat, We Vibe, We Lock It In!
The first step is to reach out via my enquiry form. If I’m available on your date, I’ll provide an accurate quote and share more about what I offer. If you're interested, we can arrange a quick, no-obligation Zoom or FaceTime call to meet and chat—just to see if we’re a good fit!
If you'd like to go ahead, I’ll send you a booking form. Once that’s returned, I’ll issue an invoice for a 20% booking fee to secure your date. After payment, I’ll confirm your booking via email and send over a welcome pack, which includes a ceremony ideas booklet and a personal vow guide to help spark inspiration

Paperwork + Planning
6 months before the wedding, I will email you both a couples questionnaire to get to know you a little better and help gather information to write a ceremony that is all about the two of you. Then Roughly 2 - 3 months out from your date, we will catch up (either in person or via video call) to complete and lodge your 'Notice of Intended Marriage Form' and start the ceremony planning (FUN!). At this meeting you will each need to provide me with:
-
Your birth certificate or current passport
-
A second form of photo ID (Drivers Licence etc)
-
Divorce Certificate from previous marriage (if applicable)
Once we have chatted about some ideas and layouts for your ceremony, I then email you a copy of the draft to work on which you will return to me about a month out from the wedding.
03
Pre-Wedding Catch Up or Rehearsal
The week of the wedding we will organise another catch up to go through the final details for the ceremony and sign your 'Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage' form. This can either be done over a drink, or if you choose to do a quick run-thru (rehearsal) at the venue the day prior, we can do it then!
04
Let's Get You Married!
On the wedding day I will arrive at the venue 45 Minutes early to set up, do a sound check and make sure everything is perfect for you! I'm then available to greet guests, help boys put on their boutonniere if needed and chat to other vendors to ensure it all runs smoothly. During or straight after the ceremony we will sign the legal paperwork with your 2 chosen witnesses and I will present you with your Commemorative certificate of Marriage. I'm happy to stick around and help the photographer direct people for group / family photos and will then quickly snap a pic with the two of you and leave you to celebrate with all your favourites. Within 24 hours I lodge all your paperwork to get your marriage registered and order your official BDM Marriage certificate which will then be straight to you!
